There are two sessions with Session One from 4pm to 7pm and Session Two from 8pm to 11pm.  \nDetroit Bourbon Fest is an indoor bourbon festival hosted at Boat House on Belle Isle (E Picnic Way\, Detroit\, MI 48207) . This festival will feature 100+ whiskeys\, 30+ store picks & high-end bottle section. The majority of the list is bourbon but there will be a few non-bourbon options such as rye whiskey\, Tennessee whiskey and Japanese whiskey. In addition to the great whiskey selection\, we will have a food truck\, live music\, vendors and more! \nEvent Proceeds Benefit The Friends of the River \n The Friends of the River is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit that works to improve water quality\, access\, and awareness on the Rivers in Michigan. We implement these goals in a number of ways. A few examples would be by getting our hands dirty and hosting regular river clean ups. Or when we work with communities to help provide docking for recreational boats of all sizes from kayaks to larger power boats. We also host and attend events regarding the rivers in order to help keep communities aware of just how important our rivers and water resources are.

This walking tour includes visits to Two James Spirits\, Michigan’s first licensed distillery since Prohibition; The Sugar House\, Detroit’s original craft cocktail bar; and Bobcat Bonnie’s\, Corktown’s premiere gastropub. As with every Michigan Brew Tours’ excursion\, you’ll be guided by a Certified Cicerone® who takes you to each establishment\, where you’ll do more than just drink cocktails and crafts spirits: you’ll learn about ingredients\, the distilling process\, and the history of the establishments while you experience some of the best potent potables that Michigan has to offer. Spirits & cocktail samples at each stop and a distillery tour of Two James Spirits are all included. \nCHECK-IN: Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the tour and check in with your guide at Two James Spirits. If you are running late\, please contact your Michigan Brew Tours guide upon arrival at (734) 666-5036 and arrange to meet up with the tour group. \nPARKING: Metered street parking is available in the area near Two James Spirits.  \nAGE LIMIT: 21 and over ONLY\, even if not drinking. You MUST show valid ID upon arrival to participate in the tour. \nTICKETING: No need to print your ticket. Arrive a few minutes early to check-in\, give the guide your name and ID.
