SUMMARY:*Free* Discover Downtown Walking Tour
DESCRIPTION:Downtown is changing. Since 2010\, the Rock/Quicken Loans family of companies (and a host of other smaller organizations) has helped to revitalize the city’s Central Business District. From the renaissance of such hot spots as Campus Martius to the demand for housing in Capitol Park to the growth of our theatre and arena district\, Downtown Detroit is looking a lot different these days. Informed by history and swayed by a desire for a bright future\, what is currently going on in Downtown is exciting. During our tour you’ll experience both soaring modern glass towers as well as Art Deco architecture\, electrifying street art and great social spots\, iconic sculptures as well as the stories of how we got them.  \n \nOur Lead Tour Guide Calvin Moore  provides education and tools to help you understand and better enjoy Detroit. One part educator\, one part entertainer\, Calvin likes to refer to Seven Point Two Tours as a form of “edu-tainment.” Through tours\, events\, and speaking engagements\, Calvin is dedicated to bringing you and your group an experience catered specifically to your needs. \n \nCome see the new\, the old\, and the bold!
