Kids ages 5 to 12 will receive mouth guards\, team shirts\, learning and implement tackling\, scrimmaging\, mauling\, conditioning\, fitness\, teamwork\, teams broken down to age groups of male and female with a scrimmage and awards at the end of the season! Every saturday is a rugby day!\nSoccer practices are held the same time wither certified referees and instructors to perform basic and advanced fundementals.\nAwards luncheon and final awards at scrimmage finale.

SUMMARY:Black Girls CODE Detroit Presents: Learn to Code a Robot with SmartGurlz!
DESCRIPTION:During this workshop\, participants will explore coding fundamentals with Google Blockly and SmartGurlz robots and dolls. Our Tech Divas will learn about why coding is important and then jump into action by learning to code robots – step-by-step. In this introductory course\,  girls will work together in teams\, think analytically\, design\, play\, and code in real-time. They will also have loads of fun making robot dances\, games\, and videos. \nAll BGC events are geared towards introducing participants to the technological universe and encouraging them to pursue careers as Tech Creators and Entrepreneurs. This event is intended for girls ages 7-12.\nRegistration:\nIMPORTANT: Once you register for this event please complete the forms linked below and bring signed copies to the event.\nComplete\, print out\, and bring the General Release of Liability form\nComplete\, print out\, and bring the Photograph & Video Release Form\nCheck-in begins at 9:00AM.  The event starts promptly at 10:00AM.  Participants do not need to bring their laptops.
